Shaleigh is a sweet, funny, Australian Shepherd puppy who is available for adoption.  She is 15 weeks old, she weighs 15 pounds, and she has a soft black tri coat and a docked tail.  Shaleigh is a typical puppy for her age – everything is a work in progress!  Crate-training, housebreaking, walking on leash – she is a fast learner and getting the hang of it all!  Shaleigh is also quickly learning her basic obedience commands and she is a great passenger in the car.

Shaleigh absolutely LOVES people and other dogs - she is quite the social butterfly!  She is such a fun puppy with her typical puppy energy.  Shaleigh loves to play with her humans, play with other dogs, play with her toys and explore the yard and home.  And when all of this “puppy work” is done, Shaleigh is a wonderful snuggler who gives great puppy kisses.  Shaleigh has not been exposed to cats.

The ideal family for Shaleigh is active, fun, and ready for puppy love!  It is also important that her new family have the time and commitment to continue with her training – she is a smart cookie who is food-motivated, and training will be fun.  A fenced yard is required, another playful young dog would be wonderful, and because she still has a mouth full of puppy teeth any children in the home should be at least 10 years old.  Shaleigh is a wonderful puppy, ready for her wonderful new home, and if you would like to learn about our adoption process and complete an application please visit our website, www.sohodogrescue.org.  Shaleigh is fostered in Charlotte, NC.
