Meet Pippa… again! Pippa is an about 5-6 year old blue heeler who has been with us for some time in search of the perfect home. Pippa is quite a highly trained girl who is crate trained, house trained, trick trained, basic obedience trained… this girl knows it all! Pippa gets along with most other dogs and especially looooves pitbulls and other bully breeds! Pippa is also ok with cats.
Pippa is an absolute sweetheart. She loves to cuddle with her people and in training, her main objective is to please. There’s nothing we can’t ask Pippa to do that she won’t attempt with all she has. She loves to learn and has made great progress in home with a professional trainer who is teaching her how to chill out and enjoy being calm.
Pippa enjoys the company of other dogs, her favorites are big headed, calmer bully breeds! She coexists wonderfully with all types of dogs but doesn’t always thrive with other herding breeds - she likes to be the only herder in the house. However, she does do well with a wide variety of dogs with slower intros and especially loves puppies!
Pippa loves her people and we would call her a medium Velcro kind of pup. She enjoys going on walks and has very good manners. Training is her biggest love so a home where they will continue to train with her is a must! There’s nothing she loves more! Pippa is an all star at tug and fetch. At the end of the day, Pippa enjoys hanging out with the family and chewing on bones. She’s very affectionate! Pippa will need a home who is committed to her continued training and that will enjoy her company. Kids do need to be above the age of 12 and a new home will preferably be in the Charlotte, NC area or within 2 hours. This fantastic girl has waited for awhile for her forever home and learned how to be a wonderful companion in the meantime - will you be part of her forever? Applications for adoption can be submitted at www.sohodogrescue.org. Pippa is fostered in Charlotte, NC.
Pippa's adoption donation is $300.
