Miley is a happy, fun-loving young Border Collie mix who is ready for her forever home. She is 1 ½ years old, she is a great weight at 35 pounds, and she has a nice black and white coat. Miley had a bad flea dermatitis when she was first rescued, but her skin has healed nicely and her coat is filling out – she is a beauty! Miley is housebroken, crate-trained, and she is just starting to learn some of her basic obedience commands. She is learning how to walk on leash and she is a pretty good passenger in the car.
Miley loves people! She is a high Velcro girl who loves to be close to her humans at all times. Miley is a smart little cookie who is very food motivated, and she loves learning new things when it is time for a training session. She also loves to play ball and tug-a-war with her foster family, and when it is time to relax Miley enjoys chewing on a nice bone. Miley loves other dogs, and racing around the yard or wrestling with her dog pals is her definition of a great time! Miley stalks the family cats, which makes the humans nervous, and the cats!
The ideal family for Miley is active, patient and committed to continuing her training – she has amazing potential. A fenced yard is critical, another active, playful young dog would be fabulous, and children should be over the age of 12. Miley is ready to show the right family a great time.
