Maple is as sweet as her name!  This little Australian Shepherd puppy is 13 weeks old, she weighs 12 pounds, and she has a very nice black tri coat.  Maple is a smart little girl, and she is almost housebroken and crate-trained.  She is also starting to learn a few of the basic obedience commands.  When Maple is walking on leash she pulls in all directions – the world is so interesting and everything needs to be investigated!  She settles nicely when riding in the car.

Maple is shy when she first meets someone new but then she warms up quickly.  She is a medium Velcro puppy who loves to be around her people but she will also explore on her own.  Maple also loves other dogs, and she has quickly learned how fun it is to wrestle and play chase with her dog pals!  Maple adores her toys, and when she is not doing the zoomies around the yard or playing with her dog pals, you can often find Maple surrounded by her toys, playing quietly.  Maple does chase the cat in her foster home, but when the cat shows her that chase time is over, Maple is fine with that!

The ideal family for Maple is active, loving, and ready for a high energy little puppy who is all about fun!  It is also important that Maple’s new family takes the time to follow through on her obedience training and makes sure that she gets the socialization and exercise she needs.  A fenced yard is required, another playful dog who can also be her role model would be fabulous, and because she is still a mouthy young puppy with sharp puppy teeth any children in the home should be at least 10 years old.  Maple is a typical puppy - lots of energy, lots of napping throughout the day, and lots of puppy kisses – what a package!  If you would like to review our adoption process and complete an application please visit our website, www.sohodogrescue.org.  Maple is fostered in Clearwater, Fl.
