Jaxson is a funny little Australian Shepherd puppy who is available for adoption. He is 4 months old, he weighs about 20 pounds, and he has a soft red tri coat and a full tail. Jaxson is housebroken, he is crate-trained (but he doesn’t always LOVE it), and he already knows a few of his basic obedience commands. Jaxson is still practicing his leash-walking skills and he gets a little nervous riding in the car.
Jaxson loves people! This medium-to-high Velcro boy listens well and follows his foster family everywhere. Jaxson also loves other dogs! Jaxson has that fun-loving puppy energy but he also has a very nice off-switch. He loves to play with his dog pals, run around the yard, play with his toys and dog puzzles (he is so smart!), and when it is time for some puppy “down time” Jaxson loves to play with his toys, take a nap, and get lots of snuggles. Jaxson has not been exposed to cats.
The ideal family for Jaxson is ready for love, ready for fun, and ready for a puppy! It is also important that his new family is committed to continuing his obedience training and socialization – he still has so much to learn! A fenced yard is important, a playful dog pal would be great, and any children in the home should be at least 10 years old.
