Darcy is a happy, healthy young Border Collie mix who is ready for her forever home. She is about 2 years old, weighs just 30 pounds, and has a black coat and full tail. Darcy is housebroken, crate-trained, and she is a perfect passenger in the car. She already knows all her basic obedience commands! Darcy is not the best dog on a leash – we are still working on this but we are making progress.
Darcy loves people of all ages and she has great “people manners”. We would describe her as a medium Velcro, medium energy dog. Darcy loves to be with you but she does not object when crated. She loves to play with other dogs and is quite the active little girl with her dog pals, but she settles easily when playtime is over. Darcy’s favorite things to do, in no particular order, are to play with her dog pals, nap on the couch with her humans, zoom in the yard and get lots of pets and scratches. Darcy has not been cat tested.
The ideal home for little Darcy is an active one, with fun, snuggly humans who are ready to share that couch and ready to take her on lots of fun dog adventures. A fenced yard and another playful dog pal are important, and children over the age of 10 are welcome. Darcy is a wonderful young girl who is ready for a great family – you? Darcy is fostered in Newport News, VA.
Darcy's adoption donation is $275.
