Daisy is a sweet, gentle purebred Border Collie who is ready for her forever home. She is 6 years old, weighs a lean 42 pounds, and has a gorgeous black bi coat and full tail. Daisy is housebroken, crate-trained and knows some of the basic obedience commands. She rides nicely in the car and walks pretty well on leash…until she sees a squirrel!
Daisy loves people. She is just a bit shy when first meeting someone new, but she is eager to make friends and is soon wagging her whole body and accepting all the petting that you will give. Daisy also enjoys the company of other dogs, although she is not an active, super-engaged player. Daisy enjoys a game of chase but is then ready to do something else. We would describe her as a medium energy, medium Velcro girl who is pretty flexible. She loves belly rubs, short games of chase or fetch, naps in the sun, walks, “squirrel patrol” around the yard, and oh yes, belly rubs! She does not love cats.
The ideal home for Daisy is filled with people who are looking for a gentle, friendly new best friend. A fenced yard is important so that she can continue her job as “squirrel patrol officer”. Another dog who loves to play chase would be welcome, as would children over the age of 10. Daily walks and no cats complete the list of ideal features for her forever home. Daisy is a gentle soul who is ready to add her special touch to her perfect home. Looking for a Daisy? Apply today! Daisy is fostered in Hillsborough, NC.
