Chase is a happy, energetic, young Australian Cattle Dog who is ready for his forever home. He is just under 2 years old, he is a great weight at 30 pounds, and he has that classic short tri-colored coat with lots of ticking. Chase is housebroken, crate-trained (but this is not his favorite place to hang out!) and he is quickly learning his basic obedience commands. His leash-walking skill is improving every day and Chase is a great passenger in the car.
Chase loves people! This medium-to-high Velcro dog has pretty good recall and he loves getting pets and belly scratches from his humans. Chase is also a medium-to-high energy guy, a typical young Cattle Dog, and he loves to run around the yard, explore all the sounds and smells, and go for walks any time he can. Chase loves to play with other dogs and he has a very energetic play style – he is a run, jump, tumble, wrestle, repeat kind of boy, and he is always ready for another game with his foster pals. Chase will chase cats who are on the run.
The ideal family for Chase is active, fun, and ready to continue training this wonderful, happy young guy. He is smart, ready to learn, and very motivated to please his humans. A fenced yard is important, another very playful young dog would be fabulous, and children over the age of 10 are fine with him. If you are ready for the chase, then this Chase is ready for you.
