Brennan is the sweetest, kindest Australian Shepherd (maybe an Aussie/Retriever mix) and he is now available for adoption.  He is about 4 years old, he is a great weight at 47 pounds, and he has a very soft, fluffy, red bicolor coat and a full tail.  Brennan is housebroken, crate-trained and he knows some basic obedience commands.  He walks nicely on leash and he is the perfect passenger in the car.  We can definitely tell that Brennan was loved and cared for before he was found as a stray and never claimed.

Brennan loves all people – no shyness here!  He is a medium Velcro boy who loves to be with his foster family but he is fine doing a little exploring on his own.  Brennan is also great with other dogs, and he has a real soft spot for the “ladies” – what a flirt!  Brennan is a medium energy dog with a nice off switch.  He loves to explore the yard, play with his dog pals and play with his squeaky toys, and after playtime Brennan is ready for some couch time and belly rubs!  Brennan has not been exposed to cats.

The ideal family for Brennan is friendly, easy-going, and ready to welcome this amazing boy into their lives.  A fenced yard is required, another easygoing dog would be fine with him (especially a young female!), and any children in the home should be at least 10 years old.  Brennan is such a great boy, as easy as they come, and if you would like to learn about our adoption process and complete an application please visit our website, www.sohodogrescue.org.  Brennan is fostered near Greenville, NC.
