Barco is a smart, happy, young Australian Shepherd mix who was recently adopted and then returned when his new owner suddenly developed a serious medical condition. Typical Barco, he trusted that the humans knew what needed to be done and settled right back in with his foster family. After a week of fun with his foster dog pals he is ready to find another family to call his own. Barco is about 3 years old, a little thin at 40 pounds and has a blue merle coat with a full tail. He is housebroken, crate-trained and knows some basic commands. He rides quietly in the car and does pull a bit when walking on leash.
Barco is a high-Velcro guy who loves people, although he can jump around when excited so he would not be a good choice for a home with small children. Barco also loves to play with other dogs and he has such a nice way of adjusting his play style according to the style and energy level of the other dogs. When it comes to people and dogs, Barco loves just about everything – walking, running, playing with toys, chewing on bones, eating, getting belly rubs, watching TV, and the list goes on! Barco ignores cats.
The ideal home for Barco is fun-filled – this little guy is ready to party! Another playful young dog is very important, as is a fenced yard to keep him safe during his play times. Cats are fine with him, and children over the age of 10 are welcome. If you are ready for an extra dose of fun and happiness in your home, Barco may be your guy so apply today! Barco is fostered in Lawrenceville, GA.
Barco's adoption donation is $275.
