Banjo is the happiest young Border Collie mix and he is ready for a forever family! This little cutie just turned 5 months old, he weighs 21 pounds, and he has that typical black and white coat and full tail. Banjo is fairly new to our rescue, and we know that this smart little guy is crate-trained, almost housebroken, and he is making good progress with some basic obedience commands. He does well when walking on leash and he loves to ride in the car.
Banjo loves people, dogs and life! He is a typical high energy puppy – everyone is his friend, everything needs to be explored and all small critters need to be chased. He loves to play with his foster family, including all the dogs in the home, and when one dog or person is tired he just moves on to the next! Yup – puppy!
The ideal family for little Banjo is active, loving and ready for FUN! They should also be committed to continuing his training – he is so smart and food motivated – training is not hard! A fenced yard is critical, another playful dog or two would be ideal, and children over the age of 8 are welcome. Banjo is very interested in cats, so a home without cats is probably best. Banjo is so happy and full of life that he will make you smile every day. If you are ready for lots of love wrapped in this cute puppy package, apply today! Banjo is fostered in Durham, NC.
