Harvey is a friendly, smart young Australian Shepherd who needs to be rehomed through no fault of his own.  He is 2 years old, he is a big guy at 80 pounds, and he has a handsome black tir coat and no tail.  Harvey is neutered and up to date on his vaccines.  He is housebroken, crate-trained, he knows his basic obedience commands and he has been taught some tricks!  Harvey walks beautifully on a leash most of the time, but he will pull in the direction of dogs that he sees coming his way.  He is a great passenger in the car.

Harvey is shy and a bit nervous when he first meets a new person, but he warms up nicely.  He is a high Velcro boy who wants to be close to his family as much as possible.  Harvey loves people more than he loves other dogs.  He is most comfortable when he is the only dog in the home, although he gets along nicely with the female dog that he lives with.  Harvey is a medium energy dog who is just a big goofball!  He loves to hang out with his family, play with balls, play with his toys, and keep the yard clear of squirrels!  He has not been exposed to cats, but given his prey drive he should not share a home with them.
