COURTESY POST! VAL IS NOT A SOHO DOG. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT HIM PLEASE EMAIL HIS OWNER DIRECTLY AT email@example.com.
Val is a Cattle Dog/Heeler mix who needs to find a new home. He is 6 years old, weighs 50-55 pounds, and he has a black/white/brindle coat – very unusual! Val is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He is housebroken, walks OK on a leash and loves to ride in the car. Val also knows several obedience commands.
Val loves his family but he is a bit standoffish when he first meets someone new. Once he gets to know someone, though, he is always excited to see them! While he does well with adults, children make him nervous. Val is not playful with other dogs and never takes the lead in trying to meet a new dog. His favorite things to do are all with people – he loves to run, take walks, go on camping trips, “patrol” the yard, wade in the nearby creeks and play tug-of-war. Val will “alert bark” when someone comes to the door or when a car drives up to the house. Val gets along great with cats!
The ideal home for Val is a quiet, friendly one, shared with adults who are looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog to share their time at home and their adventures. A fenced yard is important, regular walks or hikes would be fabulous, cats are welcome, and the best home for him has no other dogs and no children. He likes a stable, predictable routine! Val has so much personality and love to share with the right family. He currently lives in Asheville, NC, and you can contact his owner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
