Tucker is a handsome young Australian Shepherd/Spaniel mix who is available for adoption. He is just one year old, he is a great weight at 50 pounds, and he has a fluffy blue merle coat and a full tail. Tucker is housebroken, crate-trained, and he is quickly learning his basic obedience commands. Tucker walks pretty well on leash and he rides nicely in the car.

Tucker is a shy boy who is still learning that people are friends! It takes a little time for him to warm up to a new person, but he warms up nicely with a slow introduction (and a tasty treat or two!). Tucker is a very high Velcro dog who wants to be very close to his foster family all the time. He is also a higher energy boy with a nice off switch, and he loves his foster dog pals. Tucker loves to go for walks, zoom around the yard, chew on his toys and bones, play tug-of-war with his humans, and he will play (run/wrestle) with this dog pals for as long as they can last! And when playtime is over, Tucker is happy to lie close to his humans and soak up some love and attention. Tucker has not been exposed to cats.

The ideal family for Tucker is active, ready for fun, and available to spend lots of quality time with this most deserving boy. A fenced yard and another young, playful dog pal (or two!) are required, and any children in the home should be at least 12 years old. Tucker is a wonderful, shy, young dog who will blossom with an active, patient and loving family.
