Daisy is a wonderful young mini-Australian Shepherd who is available for adoption. She is 2 ½ years old, she weighs 21 pounds, and she has a very soft blue merle coat. Daisy is housebroken and crate-trained, and she does best when she has a regular schedule of potty breaks. She also takes a pill every day to keep her bladder tone strong while she sleeps through the night. Lola is just starting to learn her basic obedience commands. She walks nicely on leash and she makes a great “co-pilot” in the car.
Daisy loves people! She is a medium-to-high Velcro little girl who wants to be close to her foster family. Daisy is fine with other dogs but she is not comfortable when they race toward her and try to play. She is more of a “peaceful-coexister”, who is fine with dogs about her size who want to hang out with her but who are not really playful. Daisy is a medium energy dog who loves to zoom around the yard, go for walks and carry her stuffed toys around house. And being the little cuddler that she is, Daisy loves any attention she gets from people, and napping on a nearby chair is fun too! Daisy has not been exposed to cats.
The ideal family for Daisy is full of love and affection, and ready to welcome the sweetest of young dogs into their lives. A fenced yard is important, another laidback, peaceful-coexister dog in the home is fine with her but not required, and any children in the home should be at least 10 years old. Daisy is such a little love, and she is absolutely ready to fall in love with her new family. Daisy is fostered near Grimesland, NC.
Daisy's adoption donation is $300.
