Wakely is a very sweet and handsome young Australian Shepherd who is available for adoption!  He is 1 year old, he weighs 46 pounds, and he has a soft black tri-color coat.  Wakely is housebroken, crate-trained and he knows his basic obedience commands.  He has wonderful leash manners and he really enjoys riding in the car.

Wakely loves people!  This high Velcro boy gets so excited when he meets someone new that he sometimes forgets his training and jumps with happiness.  He also follows his foster family from room to room, happy to be around them and always ready for more pets and belly scratches.  Wakely loves other dogs, and he has great doggie play skills.  He is very friendly, he greets other dogs nicely, and he has a very nice play style.  Wakely is a medium energy guy who loves to play with other dogs, fetch balls, run around the yard, play tug-of-war, and go on walks and hikes.  And when the play is done, Wakely loves to snuggle up to his humans and relax.  Wakely has not been exposed to cats.

The ideal family for Wakely is active, loving, and ready for fun!   A fenced yard is required, another playful dog would be great but not required if his humans are as active as he is, and any children in the family should be at least 12 years old.  Wakely is such a fun and happy guy, and he is so ready to start his new life.  If you would like to learn more about our adoption process and application, please visit our website, www.sohodogrescue.org.  Wakely is fostered in Richmond, VA.
