Beau is a handsome, outgoing Australian Shepherd who is now available for adoption! He is about 9 months old, weighs 36 pounds, and has a soft, reddish brown coat with tan and white accents and a handsome white blaze. Beau is housebroken and crate-trained and would love nothing more than to sit beside you and soak up all of your attention! He is learning to walk nicely on a leash and is a good rider in the car, though he still needs a tether to make sure he doesn’t attempt driving the car.

Beau loves people and other dogs, and has a great temperament with both. He is still learning about the world, but we can see he has a nice medium energy level and has a nice off-switch. He loves to go for walks and car rides – he is ready for the next adventure – and then take a nice long nap. He is good on a leash and gets along with a wide variety of dogs. Beau has not been exposed to cats.

The ideal family for Beau is loving, active, and ready for a sweet and outgoing companion! He’s still learning about the world, and a family committed to continuing to train him is ideal. A fenced yard is important, another playful dog would be great, and children should be at least 12 years old because he’s still learning to not take the occasional friendly nibble when he gets excited.
